Proprietors Jason Dymond and Nick Phelps have been friends since childhood and formed New Barn Cars Ltd as we see it today nearly 20 years ago. They are building on firmly footed foundations - established in 1967 by Dymond senior, Ray, Jason followed in his father's footsteps, first building a successful body refinishing business before specialising in sports and prestige cars. At the same time, Nick was working hard to establish a good customer base offering a mobile mechanic service, before taking the natural step of renting premises to offer MOT and a more substantial repairs. This meant that between them Jason and Nick could offer the complete service, supplying the vehicle and then looking after you as you own it.
Today, as testament to the quality and service of New Barn Cars Ltd the business has grown substantially and has recently acquired a brand new, purpose built, fully equipped workshop closer to the centre of Cheltenham.
The business can now offer all you would expect and more from a car garage. The car sales and workshop are on a separate sites. The showroom on Prestbury Road, Cheltenham, is owned outright so lower overheads means that the savings can be passed on to the customer in the form of excellent value. Likewise at the workshop, dealership facilities without dealership prices! MOT and servicing off all makes and models (from Class 4 cars to Class 7 commercial vehicles; Air-con repairs and recharging; substantial repair facilities including lifts for high vehicles - vans/motorhomes etc.
